Peloton ‘paused the use of' Sean ‘Diddy' Combs' music on its platform
Peloton has temporarily stopped using music recorded by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on its workout platform. This decision was made in response to a comment made by a member of a private Facebook group for Peloton users. The company also removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series, which featured classes and workouts using music from a record label founded by Combs. Peloton clarified that instructors will no longer use his music in newly produced classes. Earlier, a video from 2016 showed Combs engaging in violent behavior towards his then-girlfriend. Combs has since taken responsibility for his actions in the video. Peloton had previously suspended the use of Kanye West’s music from its workout classes in response to his antisemitic comments.
